Naujan Councilor Marion Francis F. Marcos was born June 28, 1975, finished his high school from our very own Naujan Academy in 1992, and had a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the prestigious De La Salle University. He is married to Rina Lyn C. Marcos who hails from Bansud, Oriental Mindoro and they were recently blessed with a newborn son named Manuel Ferdinand C. Marcos.

Manuel Ferdinand, according to the good councilor, was named after his great grandfather, the patriarch of the Marcos clan, the late mayor Manuel Marcos, and the late Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos.

He is currently on his 3rd term as Municipal Councilor of Naujan. He currently holds the council’s committee chairmanship on Tourism and Mangyan Affairs. He was first elected as a municipal councilor on 2004 and was then re-elected to the Sangguniang Bayan the next election year of 2007. In both elections, he placed 2nd with the most number of votes for a councilor. In the 2010 elections he placed 4th.

On his second term, he had served as the Sanggunian’s Majority Floor Leader. Aside from his current committee chairmanships he had also served either as chairman or member with several committees in the past such as:

* Committee on Tourism
