Brgy. Adrialuna was formerly Balud 2. Balud is a name of a bird specie that used to be found in abundance in the area. Eventually the place, being a favorite hunting ground, was named after this bird. Stories had it that when a band of Spanish soldiers came this way, the natives living in the area mistakenly pointed to the birds when asked for the name of the place; and Balud it was from then on until it was changed to ADRIALUNA.
The present name was coined from the names of two of the most prominent politicians of the province, namely, Adriatico and Luna.

I would like to request for a topographic and geographic data of Brgy. Adrialuna if it is available. It is for the purpose of my research regarding the continuous flood occuring at the said barangay. It will be very substantial to have any help given from you.
