Mindoro Song

beach

Composer: Cecilio Nicasio
Lyricist: Guadalupe Tolentino-Sto. Domingo

O MINDORO
O Mindoro lalawigang pinagpala

Habang ako’y may buhay pa at hininga.

We’ve been singing this song when we’re in grade school till I graduated high school in Bongabon Oriental Mindoro from 1951 to 1960 then on to college. We sang this song every time there are visitors from other provinces. We are very proud of our Mangyans and Tamaraws because we are the only province in the whole Philippines who have them. Mabuhay ang Mindoro, Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!!!
